How jobs, duty and holding more than one job work.
How jobs work
Your character can hold up to 2 jobs at once, plus 1 gang. Every character starts as a Civilian.
- On duty / off duty. Most jobs have a duty point at the workplace. Clock in with the third eye. You're only paid, and only get access to work tools, while on duty.
- Grades. Jobs have ranks. Higher grades pay more and unlock more responsibilities. Bosses can hire, fire and promote.
- Paychecks arrive every 10 minutes while on duty. See Money & Banking.
Switching jobs
Press F9 or type /jobs to open the job menu. From there you can switch between the jobs you hold and go on or off duty. Type /job to see your current job and grade.
